Across the bridge for RV7, along Hallingdalselva, you will find Sataslåtten Camping. We are centrally located in Hallingdal, about 5 km from Ål city center and halfway between Oslo and Bergen.
We are open from May to October, and offer accommodation in cabins, plenty of space for
drop-in guests and seasonal camping. Booking through telephone or mail.
The campsite has a grass cover, with unmarked pitches. There is plenty of space for caravan, mobile home and tent. Pre-booking is not available.
Seasonal camping
We have about 67 carriages on a seasonal contract that are used diligently during the summer. There are currently no available year-round places, but feel free to contact us for more information about availability and price.
Sanitary facilities
Our sanitary facility is not new, but clean and centrally located. You must use coins for the shower and washer / dryer bought at the reception. The kitchen has a hotplate, sink and a microwave. We have emptying station for motorhome toilets, but not for greywater.
Electric car charger
We got two 32A chargers for electric cars.
Kiosk / reception
The kiosk has a small selection of goods like sweets and drinks. Opening hours during school holidays / high season is from 10.00am-20.00pm. Check-in after 15:00pm and check-out before 11:00pm.
Ål and Hallingdal offer varied activities for young and old. We are located in scenic areas with good opportunities for walking, fishing, cycling and climbing.

In Hallingdal you will find cycle paths in all categories, whether you want to ride down steep hills or along moutain paths. There are also several bicycle parks for all skill levels.
Bouldering
Right behind Sataslåtten camping is the unique boulder field Hovda. There are also several other good places for outdoor climbing in Hallingdal.
